RROA Banquet

The Rock River Officials Banquet was held May 4, 2008 at Timbercreek Golf Course in Dixon, IL.  Robert Ybarra served as Master of Ceremonies.  Brian Weidman of Sauk Valley Newspapers was the guest speaker.  Honorary Lifetime Members were presented with certificates acknowledging their years of service to the association and the officiating profession.  Larry Wilcoxen received special recognition for 50 years of officiating.  Tom Starr presented Larry with a Piano Wood Clock.  The Lifetime Members presented a "Contributor of the Year" award to Chris Barnhart.  Tom Full did an excellent job coordinating the banquet.  Pam and Keith Medema took photographs, provided the guest speaker with gifts, and provided centerpieces which were given to significant others randomly.
